08 Black 2LT, Just installed the 20's :)

Well guys been a long time since we posted but we just put new wheels on the car finally! I really like how it turned out. We looked at some 30 series tires as that's what tire rack recommended but I thought they were a bit to thin. So then I searched on here and saw some people were running 35's fine so we went with the Falken 225-35-R20's. The wheels are 20x8.5's with 35 offset. I'll have to take some better pics with the camera later these were taken with my iphone.

It's going to get lowered some in a couple months as well. Have to decide what he wants to put on it in regards to just springs or go with a coil over set, or go with springs and upgraded shocks? He commented on how he didn't like that you can see the brakes now... so who knows a set of SS or just a set of Brembo's might go on it eventually :)

That's the part I don't like as well. Too much open wheel space. But there are unique and grab your attention

It just sucks that they are drums in the back for the most part. I told him if we could find a wrecked HHR SS with black leather interior then maybe we should try and buy the whole thing as he wants the interior as well. Then the brakes would be a nice upgrade. I do like the wheels though just have to find a way to spruce up behind the wheels. I don't believe in brake covers either.....

Im going to paint the drums black, at least that makes for a neat finished look, even if it doesnt match the front.

Sharp rims. Yea 20's will make the brakes look small..

I'm painting my brake drums & calipers Red...1964-84 Chrysler Red to be exact..& matches my sway bar too.. I'm not trying to hide them.. But I just have tiny 17's..........
