It's rubbing where the fender folds over going into the wheel well.

Sounds like the wheels have less of an offset than HHr wheels.
You could try using a ballbat like they do in NASCAR. j/k

I got nothing..Maybe some of the guys running cobalt rims will jump in here..

If the fender had much lip, I would suggest 'rolling it' but not much there...

Depending on how thick the rims mounting flange is, may be able to have a machine shop 'mill' a bit off the rims mounting surface.. Last resort kinda thing, imo..

Really, rolling the fenders will help, a little rub won't hurt..as long as they inside of the fender does not cut the tire. Todd (uma)

I'm thinking I may try the baseball bat technique but I'm scared. I've called around town and can't find the tool for rent.

I also noticed a rub up front when I made a U-turn last night. It wasn't bad but figured I would post for future users.

The rubbing isn't bad but I make runs to home depot in my car and I know its going to be a problem.

Anyone using a 245/45- 18 on their HHR??? if so any issues?

Not if you're on goldlines. Rub for sure.
