215/45r18

Will 215/45R18's fit on 9 inch wide 18 inch rims to give me a little lip
Just wanna know if itll work if not I'll go with the 225/45R18's

Imagine how easy the tire bead can be pushed off the rim... I see no advantage to stretching a tire like that..

225 or 235 are more suited to a 9 inch wide rim..

RJ- Exactly, I like tires that have built-in rim guards in the rubber sidewall. To protect the rims..

I have no worry of curb rash as my rims I bought are just cheap ones off facebook and are already pretty ugly but thank you all for the advise and I will probably be going with 225/45R18's

Safe bet! Go with the tire size the rims was designed for.
this guy stretched 205’s over a 9” rim


The question is why?
