Bent rims

I have a 2009 HHR LT and recently put a new set of tires on it. The car had vibration in the floor before the new tires and I thought it was the old worn tires but once the new ones were installed the vibration remained so I took the car back to the garage and had them balance the tires again. They told me the rear rims were bent and that was likely the cause of the vibrations. If that is true then I would think the bent rims will ruin the new tires because they don't contact the road evenly. I have looked for rims online and I noticed there are a lot of hub caps available for these rims. I am not sure if mine have hub caps. How can I tell if they do?

It could be the rims are bent, are yours the five spoke 17 inch rims with hub caps? The lug nuts would be plastic and thread into the double thread lug nuts

These are four fairly new rims, here's the classified ad

Here are pictures of my wheels. They are the 5 spoke 17" wheels and I think they are plastic hub caps. Not sure about the lug nuts, I couldn't budge them.

You don't have a matching set as it is... I can't tell from those pics if they are steel with caps or alloy.

Rap them with your knuckle. You would know the difference between solid metal and hollow plastic?

Looks like hubcaps, hard to be sure though. Might not matter to you, but they don't match. I thought the bent rims were the issue, why are we talking about hubcaps?

By the look of your lug nuts you have alloy rims,

Talking bent rims, determining hubcaps or alloys

They are hub caps. I was able to get a thin screwdriver between the edge of the cap and the rim. I could pry the cap away from the rims.

The wheel covers are removed by loosening the plastic lug nuts. Don't try to pry them off.
