Center cap is from 89-95 2wd toyota pickup , fits snug and snaps on.

Neat, how do they snap on? More details or perhaps the site you ordered them from.

They grip on the outside of the ring on the center hole of the wheel.

I’m thinking some sanding or perhaps double sided tape and the bottom of a pop can polished, or brushed.

Alrighty then, I ordered a set of 4 from this EBay seller, the metal rings don’t grab enough of the centre hole flange to hold the cap in place.
Did you do anything to get them to grip?
are yours OEM Toyota?

As I said , I had time to adjust the tabs on the retaining rings, and got them to fit.
