Center Caps

Hey everyone, first post since I recently bought my 2010 HHR SS. The center caps are kinda busted, and look like crap, and came across "SS" decals for the center caps from house of grafx. The only problem is that the center caps have to be flat, and the stock ones have the raised bowtie. Anyone know where I can find the right center cap so I can use the graphics?

to the forum!

Probably the easiest way to find plain center caps would be to pop one of yours out, measure it, and then check e-Bay. Or head to your local tire/wheel shop, they can probably fix you up.

Welcome to the site, center caps seem to be a search for the impossible but they are out there, what wheel are you running and which caps do you have, if it is the plastic raised Bowtie logo or the embossed metal ones ?

Thanks guys for the warm welcome and help. I ordered a stock bowtie set, and I'm going to take the old messed up ones and try to smooth them out and see what I can do.

Let us know how they turn out, and post some pics when you get the chance.

hey guys, sorry for waiting so long to reply. Jas89tta, I do like what you did, but was hoping for something different. After a long, long, long......time I think I found something that will work. Once the weather gets a little better I'll show you what I'm going to do and the results.

I found the SS inserts for I think an 80's Monte Carlo, so what I think I'm going to do is take off the old center caps, grind down the bowtie, and place the inserts in the center. What's nice is they cover cover nearly all of the center cap with only about 1/8" of the center cap left visible.
