Changing to larger tire sizes
I'm with you Whopper.
Here's my answer …… 26.1" OA height mounted and proper air pressure. To be safe you could use 26" O.A
See if you can Make a Deal to have the provider first mount one tire and install it on the front. Check carefully to see if there is any problem with clearance.
If acceptable, go ahead and finish the install. Pay them a few bucks if it is too large for the verify test.
I also agree Whopper that you will not notice much difference for all the hassle.
Ride quality can vary between Brands and Tread designs WITHOUT changing the size.
I'm out too

good idea
thanks
I have the 215/55 on now... but since I am having to buy new tires anyway. I wanted to investigate how 'good' a ride I could get.
When I crawl behind the wheel and drive 10-12 hours a day I don't want to feel every little bump in the road.
This is a good group and figured no harm in asking others experences
Thanks again
