Firestone took it on the chin since Ford decided to cram too much SUV on a ranger chassis. When they rode like crap, they drop the tire pressure on an already top heavy vehicle. After I got my recall tires swapped for some goodyears, I noticed it rode worse than what it did. They also put a new placard on the door jam showing the higher pressure.

Did you know that those same DOT#'s were OE on some nissans and toyota trucks during those years? I don't believe those were recalled!

Let's not forget that there are recalls all the time for nearly all tire manufacturer's for issues like Firestone went through.

Someone mentioned Fuzion...owned and produced by Bridgestone, who owns Firestone


annnd one last thing...Firestone is also putting tires on Fords again SOON
