Common brand/model/size replacement 16" tires

I can't believe I need tires already at 35k miles.

What seems to be the popular replacement 16" tire? I notice the OEM size is not very common. I live in the South, so snow isn't an issue. I need more of a mileage tire that performs half way decent in the rain.
