Hi guys,

Just bought a white panel HHR yesterday (08 2LT, 84kmi, white with black interior) and looking to customize it a bit. I've gone through the posts about beauty rims, moon caps and whitewalls but looks like most of them are old and the options aren't available any more (Wheel vintiques etc).

Specifically, either beauty rims or moon/baby cap options for 15" and/or 16" inch wheels + whitewalls (and where to source the wheels themselves). From what I understand, the factory 16" steelies don't accept many hub caps- any suggestions which other ones might work? The 5x110 pattern sets its own limitations when it comes to the wheels.

Alternative suggestions for substituting WWs etc and to get the old school look are welcome too.

15” rims don’t fit to well, if at all.
Wheel Vintiques smoothie or rally rims are obsolete but were a great product.
Diamond back or Coker tires are expensive.

post a want ad see if there’s anyone with a used set in the shed.

Thanks for the info! Nice set up, which wheels/baby moons are those? Do generic beauty rings attach to those rims?

 

Those were Wheel Vintiques rally rims and baby moons, I think the member here that bought those rims still has them but not sure.
