i ran Cooper Zeon 2XS on my Camaro and loved them. Cooper makes great tires IMO. the 2XS is their high performance tires, and were just as sticky as the BFG G-Force Sports on the Camaro now, they just didnt last as long as my BFGs are doing so far. but for the price difference, Cooper tires are great on performance in their specific intended uses, and are cheaper than other big brand tires of comparable performance. this is all in my and my brothers experiences. and he worked at Big Brand Tires here in town for a couple years, and got well aquainted with many brands and models of tires.
Cooper is a tire I've never owned, though I've always heard good things about them. I've recently become a big fan of Yokohama tires. I put a set on my Catera last year. They are by far the best set of tires I have ever owned. Excellent wet/snow traction, good wear, excellent ride, and great handling.
I have a question related to Tire Rack and Big Brand Tire. I have always purchased tires at the local dealer, usually Goodyear or Michelin. I noticed that Tire Rack will deliver straight to a local Big Brand Tire outlet, and the out the door price ends up considerably less than my usual tire shop. If it was just $50 or so, I would stick with my usual guy, but the savings is way more than that. Anything wrong with going the Tire Rack/Big Brand route?
