New 17" tires and the BCM?

Hello,
I put a new set of 17" tires and rims on, up from 16" and I was wondering if I need to get the Body control module (BCM) reprogramed?

The reason I ask is, when I was at the dealer getting the fog lights programed on (dash indicator) I saw the tech going through all the options and I did see an option for 17" wheels on the TECH II scanner. At the time I had 16s on my HHR so thought nothing about it.

Dose anyone know if I need the 17" wheels option enabled in the BCM?

Thanks,
Craig~

I went from 16" wheels to 18" wheels and according to my GPS the speed O meter is right on the money.:thumb:

Only needs to be reprogrammed if the overall height of the tire is different.
