Another TPMS post!

God I hate these things!! My 08 would give me the check tire monitor message with dashes for the tire pressure sometimes but not always for the RR tire. After researching it I figured it was a dying battery and had the sensor replaced a couple of weeks ago. When I put the tire back on I figured it was a good time to rotate and relearn the tires which I did. All was fine til yesterday when the LF tire started doing the same thing! Its definately not the tire that just had the sensor replaced. I figure it is the same issue but am wondering if thats too much of a coincidence. Probably just being paranoid but you think its possible I have an issue with the receiver? I am going to get the LF sensor replaced but just wanted to get some opinions. TIA

I would say not a coincidence. The battery that was replaced was nearly 10 years old. The battery now in question is nearly 10 years old. The batteries in the 2 remaining tires are nearly 10 years old, so they probably will also fail in the not too distant future.

Yes, those batteries die and set the light in the dash. Next tire change , replace them.
