Since the original wheels are 16's. Has anyone had a problem with putting on 17" wheels. I'm new to all this and just recently purchased a used HHR and before long, I will need to replace the tires. So I'm looking to get all new tires and wheels for it.
The old wheels, is there any value in them?

I went from the 16's to Cobalt SS/SC 18's. Get the correct height tire and the speedo is still accurate also.

 

I've got a 2LT which came with 17's and switched to 16" Euromax 612's for summer use..... (Old school cragar look) I will be using the 17's during the winter with snows. As long as the tire diameter stays close to the same speedo will be within range, as solman says. Fit will be no problem with the right tires either.
