When I bought my HHR the dealer put new tires and brakes on it before I took delivery. I did not know anything about Primewell tires but I thought I would run them for a while and till I could get something else. I call the Firestone dealer that carries Primewell and he said nothing but good things about the tire I had on the HHR. The PS830 is a 40,000 mile tire made in China. From what he told me Primewell is one of the top 3 tire manufactures in China and the U.S dealers seem to be having good luck with them.
Well after 5000 miles later I have to say this is a nice tire for the HHR. Good handling and smooth riding. Road noise is about the same as any tire I guess depending on road surface. To replace them with a new set would run about $380.00 installed. Not bad when you consider the odd size on the 16inch stock wheel.
