Ready for Winter!

Normally I'm out in the garage during a snowstorm putting the winter tires on. Figured I would be a little better prepared this year.

General Altimax Arctic 205/60/16 (bought used $175)
16" Steel 5 spoke rims ($25ea eBay)
Non brembo car

I bet your feelings get hurt a little everytime you walk outside and see those on your car. They actually don't look too bad, but when you go from a nice big wheel to a small not as nice...it never settles well.

I dont mind them at all. I actually like the way it looks. Way better than the typical steel rim like I had on the LT for winter.

Heck, I'm even considering black rims now.

Mine looks the same. No major winter prep except for where it's parked. Probably because I don't take it out in the snow. Tucked away in the barn next to the 87 Silverado waiting for a nice day or an Indian Summer. A monthly drive is all it needs to keep things loose. I just keep float chargers on the batteries and change the oil in the fall on them.
