Stick with the original size tires that were on your rims. For comparison shopping check Sears, Tire Rack, etc. Search for your size in winter tires. Hope this helps!

Last year I bought Bridgestone Blizzak REVO 1 snow tires from the tire rack. The size I bought was 205/60-16. Yes, the factory tires are 215/55-16, but the same snow tires in that size were much more expensive, and the size I picked kept the same outside diameter. It made a HUGE difference in the snow over the factory Firestone all-season radials. Here's the web site for those tires at the Tire Rack:

Same size I bought (different brand). There is a minor difference actually (leads to like 2% deviation on the speedo).

Blizzaks are the best snow tire.
