Is it possible, without modifications, to put factory SS HHR wheels on my 2006 2LT HHR? I am pleased with my chrome factory wheels, but one day I might want to do a swap. Anyone done this and how is the ride quality?

 

there is a member on here with them. white hhr, can't think of their name though.

 

no problem what so ever, other than possible pocketbook issues.

The SS tires are a little bit larger, 225/45/18 vs probably 215/50/17.
That would mean a difference of about 2%, so if your speedo says 50, you are really going 51, not too much of a problem.

Keep an eye open. Check on Craigslist for the Atlanta area, they show up occasionally. I got my Cobalt ss/sc wheels out of Tenn.
