Hib lives in central coast Cal. My guess is he doesn't know what snow is.

Are you sure it is still a current tire?

I do see the Assurance Comfort Tread ???

215/55R16 is available at Sam's Club.

Snow & ice performance is great, as is wet road performance. Just got a set last month for the wife's Grand Caravan because of that. A friend was also impressed and picked up a set for his 2000 Tahoe Limited.

Well, it was a good (great!) run. They lasted 80,150 miles. Replaced with a set of Goodyear Assurance ComforTred yesterday because the TriplTred is no longer available.

Well, another follow up, in 2012 we installed the Tripletreds on my daughters car, a 2007 2lt, fast forward she still has them! We replaced 2 this summer. 80,000 some miles. The Bridgestones I bought for my 2010 LS were replaced by new Tripletreds a few years back, I’m also approaching 80,000 miles, the most amazing tires I’ve ever had. Both of these cars have high mileage, 250k on the LT and 275k on the 2010.

I recently added a 2009 SS and couldn’t find Tripletreds for it so I just bought the replacement versions now called the weatherhandler series. Supposed to be the replacement but offers better snow traction. I really wish Goodyear would make the Tripletreds again, I have never seen such a great all round tire.
