Why would you use helium. There is no benifit of it over nitrogen. ???

Nitrogen is inert (bo--ring!) - helium is volatile!

No BOOM here

Hydrogen is volatile, e.g., the Hindenburg. Helium is inert.

From Wikipedia:
Helium is a colorless, odorless, and non-toxic gas. It is the least reactive member of group 18 (the noble gases) of the periodic table and is inert and monatomic in virtually all conditions.

Tire pressure

The sticker on my 1LT says 30 psi all the way around. Around town I run 30psi in front and 29psi in back. On the road I add 1lb and I am getting 31mpg on the road and 25mpg in town.

Helium molecule is smaller than nitrogen... won't it leak at a higher rate?

35lb.psi. Got 29.9 mpg highway to Mid-Central Run, last week. From Chicago, to Peoria.
75 -80 mph, a/c on going, off returning, 345-ish miles round trip.
Plus some slow speed travel to the two Cruises we crashed. Approx. 25 mi.
2.2L engine...
