How do I know if these will rub on the wheel well?

They will not. They are close to the same diameter as the 205/55R-16.

They will not fit, or they will not rub on the wheel well? I want to be absolutely sure so I don't have to eat the shipping cost if I have to return them

I'm currently running 215/50R17... studded winter tires were expensive in that size, so I bought 15" steelies and a set of studded 205/65R15 Winterforces, which turn out to be the only about .1" bigger in circumference.

You should have no problem. P205/60R-15 would be better. I currently run P245/45-17 on mine which are taller and wider than stock with no problems.

Hmm....I was looking at getting 16" steelies with winter tires for my LT (currently running the stock 17" wheels) but maybe I can save a few more dollars going with 15's.

How weird does it look going from 17" wheels to 15" ones I wonder?
