I run white letters on my Monte, which pretty much is only 3-4 options now days and I have been running (and loving) Cooper Cobras for years....
so I haven't had to think/shop/research tires in a long time (other than work, but we pretty much go with the cheapest thing we can get)

what have you had good luck with? mine had/has Falken on it from when I bought it, I've been happy with traction (wet traction is a must down here in FL), but I've had it a little over a year now, and I'm not impressed with the wear

I bumped to 225/50/17, which gave me many more options & bigger foot print & a bit more sidewall.

I only run ZR rated directionals, since my tires age out before wearing out. So I can't be of much help. I still ride the bikes as much as I can.
