TPMS Problem
 

76K and something finally malfunctioning.

LF -- PSI RF 38 is what I am getting. Had Discount Tire check it with their gismo and it starting working again. Drove about 30 miles and it messed up again. I feel like it is the tire sensor and not the receiver. Don't know if the receiver can cause an individual sensor to not read.

Where is the cheapest place to purchase one as Discount Tire quoted me a price of $70?

I had one tire that would do tht..same place almost everyday going home from work..at first it just used to do it in weather but then whenever it felt like it...so one day I decided to get all the tires back to the same psi and it never did it again...I think playing with the air did something...maybe
Now that I think about it, I had rotated them also

Left for church this morning and everthing was working great. Drove about 20 miles and still working. Keeping my fingers crossed.:thumb:

I gave up on them since they can't seem to get the implementation right. I maintain pressures on a regular basis anyway.

Is there a way to delete them? Or will it cause the TPMS light to come on if I remove them?

Read about a person that took a length of pvc then capped it off and drilled four holes and install the valve stems with sensors attached. Then pressured it up to the correct pressure and left it in his trunk to fool the receiver so the dash warning would stay off. (I guess he had schrader valve installed also)

Seems like unhooking the system was very difficult to do without messing something else up.
