Universal 10 Lug?

I am looking at a set of rims and the guy says they are a universal 10 Lug. I went to the Homepage and they say it will fit a Saturn Ion but they don't give you the choice to pick the HHR in the drop down window. Can anyone give me more info on the 10 Lug system and will it work on my HHR. I'm trying to get the offset from the guy but I really think he might be clueless.

10 lugs or not, unfortunately there really isn't a universal wheel. When a wheel has ten holes drilled in it, it simply has two bolts patterns drilled into the wheel. What you need to ascertain is just what bolt patterns the wheel has. If you are lucky one of them could be 5/110 MM to fit your HHR. If the wheel has a cap that covers the lug holes it probably can be redrilled by a professional wheel redriller like myself.

if they are "universal" and fit onto the ion 5lug, they can fit 5x110. most universal 5 lugs are 5x100 and 5x114.3.

Sounds like they mean DUAL DRILL. like you can run a 5-100mm or a 5-114.3 they drill two different patterns. They are not like the old Cragar or Keystones that you have to use the special lugs and special oblong washers.

You are 100% correct. There really isn't anymore universal fit wheels. Wheels today are exact fit. As you said dual drilled with two proprietary bolt patterns. There are approximately 10 or more different 5 lug PCD's so it would boil down to luck if one of the ten where to be the correct fit for the HHR.

like I had stated before, his original post said that they are drilled with ion boltpattern, which is 5x110 if its the 5 lug ion. I would suggest driving to the person with a jack in your car to test fit one of the rims on the front.
