Winter Wheel Vintiques + Goodyears Installed

Here are the first pictures of my winter wheels on.

I installed the Wheel Vintiques Smoothie wheels with the Bow Tie caps.
I also installed a set of Goodyear Triple Tread Assurance tires 215-50-16. They are the same diameter as the factory 18 inch tires and only varied 2 Revolutions Per Mile so my speedo is intact.

As for traction I have used these for a few years on the wifes GTP with no issues on Ice, Snow or Rain. Thes tires go anywhere in any weather with no issues. Also tread wear is much greater than many winter only tires.

I did note going to the 16" that the turn in is a little slower but the ride is greatly improved. There are no ill handling effects just a little less performance. That is the only thing that is not as good vs my stock Pilots and is to be expected.

I will try to get some outside pictures later as it was snowing and I did not want to take it out clean yet. I must say I am not a big reto fan but these came out pretty good and will do what I need for winter.

Oh, the tire pressure sensors reset just fine after my GM inspired Chinese fire drill.

Looks great. Are they steel or billet? They do a great job and quality workmanship.
See ya down the road

Very cool--
When you say that the tread wear is greater than many winter only tires do you mean they wear faster or longer?

Really makes me want to do the same!!
