Maybe some thin chrome trim around the markers, rear reflectors, and tails. That would add to the look of the trim around the wheels and complete your look without adding too much. (trim isn't cheap, but way cheaper than different rims)

Had wire wheels on many of my vehicles through the 70's, 80's and 90' (kind of a pain to clean IIRC). Probably would look good on an HHR, depending on the application.

Yep, the '59 caddy tail lights look killer.. Frenched in like Lunchboxs' look better yet. But I would have done 4 of em.
