Truevil, as the internet saying goes, "pics or it didn't happen". There is not a single person on this forum that believes that a 3200lb vechicle, making 172hp(crank hp) is going to come close to 157mph. My SS/TC makes 286whp, weighs 3000lbs, and it would be taxed hitting 157mph.

If yours really does say 1900lbs, not Kg, then your sticker got messed up when they printed it, because I'm not sure there is enough to take out of the HHR to make it weigh 1900lbs, and still be able to drive.

As far as the tires, if you bought it used, someone may have put higher rated tires on it, but there's no way GM put 170+mph tires on it from the factory...

Enough of the total BS, with what is an obvious intent to troll. Member banned. Bye bye.

Hey guys I took some scrap to the junk yard in my SS. it was 3550 lbs with me when I was empty I'm about 260lbs so that 3280 curb weight is pretty close for the auto????

Sounds about right, auto's tend to weigh a bit more than manual's.

Was that with or without helium in the tires?

Hey whopper,
Since you banned the evil one and deleted his previous posts, this thread is kind of in the Twilight Zone.

What I mean is, some of our rebuttal posts are aimed at no one.

4 of his posts still show as quotes so anyone who reads the whole thread will get the gist of what happened.
