caught him off guard!
Was sitting in traffic when I looked in my rear drivers side mirror.. what do I find? An SRT-4. As we get along side, I mess with him by revving my engine, and he just minds his p's and q's. traffic lightens up, and we are side by side at a stop light, with a 1/8 mile of unobstructed road in front of us.. light turns green, I squeal off, and he was caught off guard, squeals clear through third gear, but I still ended up on top in this. Yes I know he let up, but it was still cool! Thought I would share.

Solman, yes I know.. He looked like he was pissed at traffic.. When traffic moved up some, he'd wait, and then just gun for that little space.. So I agged him on at the light. Thing was, he wouldn't even make eye contact with me when I was right next to him.. So I said screw it, and did that, I was through the intersection and he tromped it, and caught up to me.. then we both let off. He pulled up next to me, smiled, nodded, and gave a thumbs up.

I know one guy. Instructor "counter emergency preparation".
He always buys the "kopeyka" - VAZ 2101. Archaic car, production ended in the 70 years of 20 century, the engine 1500. But they are still very much in Russia for a knockdown price.
So .. At these kopykas, he manages to compete with Mercedes and Lexus. And to conquer them in random street races.
Machine - half the success. Second half - driver skill. I see - you, the officer possesses them.
