i have a friend from work who never shuts up about his neon sx. "It beats everything on the street" he says . He actually put on a CAI, headers, full exhaust, uses premium fuel and synthetic oil, as well as many body upgrades..... ON A FRIGGIN NEON! Any way the other night after work he followed me so i knew it was go time. I totally smoked his ass everytime lol. I called him right after cuz i thought he wasnt even trying, but his foot was on the floor the whole time lol

 

Nice to put the loud mouths down...kind of makes your day doesn't.

 

Watch out for Neon SRT4's. If they have the Mopar 300hp kit, look out.

 

Ya i told him the only way i would give a neon respect is it it was the srt-4. Ya its still a neon but it was one of the best mod cars out there. My neighbour has one with a twin turbo and is putting out over 400hp. crazy fast

Yep, I have a '05 Neon SRT-4 running 336 hp and 360 lbs/ft of torque at the crank so around 295/320 at the wheels. Got the smaller SXT wing on it so it looks pretty normal. 12 second car. Pretty much no worries.
