HHR 2LT vs. Civic
HHR 2LT vs. Civic
Heheh, I actually got into my first drag race today, it was like clash of the entry-levels :)
2.4l HHR vs. late nineties Civic with clear front corners, "euro" taillights, and an "exhaust". I won by half a car, slowed, looked over, and was met with a sheepish grin from the passenger of said Civic. Cursed myself for instantly dropping at least .1 MPG off my average.
I'm not really into street racing (if you could even call what I did that), but I just bought her, and had to do it at least once... I haven't raced a person on the street since I owned an MR2 turbo 5 years ago.
I don't expect anyone to care, and am NOT trying to brag. (I actually only raced him till 65mph on a 55mph road) To quote everyone's favorite phrase, "It is what it is!"

It's not always about speed, sometimes it's just for the thrill. From an old 60s street racer... it's always a thrill.
