HHR SS VS. Dodge Neon SRT-4

Hey All,
I was rolling on the freeway when a SRT-4 decided to try a pass. I caught him sneeking though, so I gunned it. I held my own to 90+ when I let up. I do believe he had some mods cause even at over 90 his neon grabbed hard. Please let me know y'alls experience.

SRT-4 wasn't racing. No way a SRT-4 could lose to a SS unless they were a poor driver. I've got one and though I respect the SS I have no fear of one, especially since I'm not stock. Be safe.

I've beaten an Srt-4 neon the first day I put my upgrade on. Of coarse he claimed he missed third, which he did but I was already pulling in front of him. He pulled low end in second but I made alot of ground on the top end of second when I hit max boost. I love NLS.

A stock SS could beat a stock SRT4 hands down. However a modded SRT4 would surely destroy our cars, even an SS that's modded. Just way more mods out there. I knew a buddy who had over 400 HP in his SRT4 till he sold it for a family minivan

Hey, nothing wrong with mini vans. I'm currently building (engine already built and forged) a eagle summit van 3 door van thats awd 5 speed and using a TDO6-20g to turbo charge it. It seats 5 and even has a sliding passengers side door

On the street, anything is possible. In stock form, the Neon is only a tad much better that the HHR SS so it would actually come down to the driver. I've seen stock Vipers running mid 13,s so driver plays a good part in racing.

Very true. Too bad I never faced a SS when I was stock.

Im glad Dodge created the Neon SRT4, because it opened American car companies to a level and beyond the performance that Japanese cars did and could muster even with mods.
