HHR v. Ford F150

Next to a new white F150 at a light. On green, he guns it and takes off. I'm game, so I shifted into I and punch it. At the next stop sign, he is leaving as I am stopping and he looks over and smiles. I floor it again, we went on for over a mile. I wasn't goin to pass him, but he wasn't pulling ahead of me and we were flying. In the end, he had to slow because he wanted to make a right and I was in that lane. As we stopped he checked the ride and gave me a thumbs up before tearing off on his turn.

Damn that was some nice pick up...and I aint talking about the Ford.

Good thing it wasn't a F-150 Lightning. Then you would have had your ass handed to you.

Reaction time wouldn't have anything to do with a race against a Lightning. Even if you got off the line quicker you have to deal with a supercharged 5.4 liter V8 so there in no way our little 2.2 and 2.4 4 bangers could hang. I would still race a lightning for fun knowing I would lose. I have a hard time believing an HHR could hang with an normal F-150. I believe krejaton though, because we are talking screwing around on the street not an actual race.

The fact is you are stating the obvious, so what is your point? Where I drive on a regular basis, I am always the fist off the light, then I let them go blazing by me, then I wave while they are filling up, the whole post was tounge and cheek! K was talking about a white F-150, I mean come on capt. I think most of us know where our HHR stand on the issue

I don't have a point. I know an F-150 would kick my ass if I tried to actually race them, but then again I raced a Mach 1 Mustang in my HHR knowing I would lose. Next we will be seeing I beat a Vette with my 2.2 in this section, trust me.
