My HHR SS love story

Can't figure out why I love the HHR so much. I've been lucky and over the years have owned a '69 Z28, '87 Grand National, 2 Corvettes, 2 Vipers and a '06 HHR LT. I loved the feel of the HHR LT... and when I read about the 2010 SS in Popular Mechanics (of all places) I couldn't believe Chevy would build something so cool. Bought one new at a great price (the dealer had no idea what he had): 5 speed, factory 7 speaker Panasonic sound, Brembos, sun roof, launch control, factory dash mounted instrument pack. After a year, I had the dealer add the GM Stage 1 kit ($1000 for a couple of sensors and a flash). Took it from 260 to 290 horses. What a difference! After 3 years I realized I was going to keep this forever. Totally removed the interior and DynoMated everything. It really quieted the interior down... especially for long trips (you can actually talk to your passengers when you are on the freeway!) 😀😀 The car now has 85,000 miles on it.
