Before ( When I took her home 3 months ago) and after pix attached.

In case you wonder how the Air Bag feels all I can remember is it feeling like a pillow. Windshield got cracked prolly by my hand. Radiator gone. Grille Gone.

Still fires up sounds like she did when new (Cop had me drive to the curb)

Other than everything around them NO damage to Headlights / Turn Signals / Fog Lights

I guess whe the Body shop open tomorrow I will have a better Idea what will happen to my baby and how much it will cost me.

Phewww.. glad the safety devices worked... think another set of disc brakes in the rear would of helped ?

First, glad you are not injured.

Secondly, seems like the Sunburst Orange HHRs have thing about accidents. I thought, other than the Deerslayer, there was another Orange one that got bit.

Maybe it is just my imagination.....

Yep thats the way it allways is. The person that does the hitting gets it much worse than the hitee. Been there done that (twice). Once in my Regal & once in my Beretta GT. My front end was all messed up and the other cars, well can you say small scratches and a quarter size hole in the tail light.
IT SUCKS!!!! Just glad you are ok, cars can be repaired or replaced.
People are harder to repair & can't be replaced.

as someone who got into a similar accident a couple of months ago...your probaly looking at about 3-4 plus the airbags....I lost the bumper, grille, radiator, and hood and that was altogether 3g's...I think the HHR has horrible stopping as I was a good distance back but I was on 95 so to bring it to a dead stop all of a sudden was a lot to ask for...

Glad to hear that noone got hurt. The damage doesn't appear to bad either. Maybe you could look for the silver lining..........now you can make several mods at once! New windshield (like CH's), Billit grill, and maybe even a fresh paint scheme.
