Need Help With Two Tone Paint Job

Hey Everyone,

I'm new to the forums and I've recently purchased a 2006 Purple HHR. I'm looking for some ideals about two toning. I want to keep the purple on the bottom but don't really know what color I would like on the top. I'm thinking either a dark gray with a white pin stripe to set the two colors off or a lighter silver color with a black pin stripe.

What are your guys suggestions and if anyone could photoshop a couple looks I would appreciate it?

Thanks,
Jason

Do you have any pics of it as a starting point? I agree that the HHR pic'd above looks cool. If it's that shade of purple, then silver would be a very good accent.

I do not have starting pics but I guess I could try to photoshop some looks myself and post the results.

Oh, I'm sorry I misunderstood what you was asking. I'll have to take some pictures and post them.

try to be creative with the split...instead of hum drum pinstripe..maybe use a small repetative graphic...two tone will look super sharp if u add a 3rd color for the split in colors..lighter purple..darker grey..even really bold yellow,green..its all your taste..check out some CHIP FOOSE creations..hes a big fan of the old school two tone paints..you will see what i mean...http://www.google.ca/images?hl=en&q=...ed=0CCQQsAQwAA
