Door Handle not returning to body, any one else?

Just noticed today when I went to get something out of the wifes 06, the drivers door handle is not returning to home posistion ont he outside of the car. About a 3/8" sticking out front the mating lock mount. door handle works fine, just not returning to home position. Any one else have this problem. Still under warranty, just wondering if its a simple fix or I should make an appointment to take it in.

thanks

I did have this for a while, I think it was ice, as it went away of its own accord when the weather warmed up.

This feels like there is no return spring, the handle just flops there with no tension pulling it back to the car.

you could pop the door panel and see whats going on in there. I've never seen inside myself on the HHR (short ownership) and don't know if there is an opening directly behind the handle, alot of cars its not and can be a PITA to get to. I'd glady hand it over for warranty coverage
