Would anyone be interested in starting an H H R night here locally? I see they have bike nights at a bunch of places and was thinking that an H H R Night would be really cool to have..... :thumb:

I'd be interested as long as it was a week night. I don't have much extra time on the weekends. I am in the Tulsa area 95% of the weekends anyway.

bill, navy and i met up one friday nite after work. had a nice evening and we had alot in common, he,s been busy protecting out great nation lately. coyt'sdrive in on penn and i-44. would be nice one nite when the street rods are there . i'm good any time. what about a bricktown nite?

I like the Wed night thing. The only thing for me is the 3rd is my daughters B-day. so I will be in the eastern part of the state. That is if I get back for deployment in time.(knock on wood):confused:

B town works for me. How about Toby Keiths place. Some of the best ribs I have had came from there.
Then again, Coyt's drive in is good.
How about Holley's Drive In at Western and Main ? What ever happened to that place ? (Just kidding)

Well won't be able to make it to Coyts this week. I leave Cenatral America Saturday at 10am, get into OKC at 6pm, fly out the next day at 2 pm coming back down to Central Ameirca agian.....:(

im game. weekdays are fine or weekends when i dont have to work.
I know on saturdays the mustang and corvette guys get together at Freddy's ice cream on I-35 near the Warren Theatre.. Speaking of, thats a pretty big parking lot. Could we fill it with HHR's? Get one of these Navy pilots to take a aerial view picture of that?
i also belong to the OK Z car club (Nissan Z cars) and recently joined the Nismo club of OKC. And those clubs have meets and club BBQ's , cruises etc... Also the Z club has track days once a month. If any of you have one of those SS HHR's and wanna see how well she will do. Its $30 for non members . and its local here at the sherriffs track in OKC. Lastely there is always some kind of bike/car show going on at one of these local OLD Chicago's.

As far as Big Jim, last time he posted was 05-31-2008. He sold his HHR awhile ago. He was lots of fun and was always willing to help anyway he could. We miss him on here.

Another new HHR owner here located in OK City. I see there's been some general interest in having a meet of some kind. Sounds good - count me in!

Are there any plans to get something going in 2011? Seems we are having a mild winter and some days and evenings are nice enough to get out. Anyone?

Although its kinda hard during the winter, most people get off work around 5-5:30pm and by that time its pretty much dark.
