Rear suspension, gas shock absorbers

What would be the benefit, if any, in replacing my present original LT1 rear shocks with the gas shocks used on the HHR sport suspension? I have already added the rear sway bar with MUCH improvement. Have been greatly enjoying this forum and various perspectives offered on the different topics!

Nitrogen gas shocks -- tend to be a bit more firmer ride Thats why they use it in the sports suspension.
