Funny thing. I noticed that Luckys parts diagram is dated from 2003. So, I'm assuming this is not a HHR diagram?

That's a good point. I got it from a different site that said it was an hhr.
It may be a similar diagram from a differs ecotec engine car.
The part numbers that I posted are from gm though.

Question

ACDelco #15226661 is an assembly of 6,7,8 On E-bay the seller states This part is not compatible with 2007 Chevrolet HHR LS Wagon 4-Door 2.2L 2198CC 134Cu. In. l4 GAS DOHC Naturally Aspirated but RockAuto site shows a Dorman part which shows cross referenced to the AC Delco part,
I did not have a leak there so I did not change them out.
Funny thing, firemangeorge and Lucky, my 2003 Sunfire GT has the same hose set up on it, 10 years 310,000 kilometers and no leaks at all!!!

Old Blue, how hard was it to replace the lines? My top one is leaking.
Questions: Are they connected so both must be replaced? Are they quick connects on both ends? Anything to remove to get access? Thanks!

dano40 fairly easy to replace the lines, there are clips for the rad end fittings and the lines pull out then at the trans there is a 10 MM nut on a long stud, I when thru the drivers side of the rad opening with a long 3/8th extention to remove this nut then the two lines pull out you will lose approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of a pint of trans fluid so put a drain pan down!

Yes, connected at the trans end. My radiators have had the female connectors integrated, they could not be screwed out like the above pic shows.

similar set up! slid the black plastic covers back then pull the clips on the rad end, and pull out the metal tube!

Received the new lines yesterday ($43 delivered from Rock Auto) and changed out the lines today. Not a lot of room to work in (at least on the Cobalt). Added about 12 ounces of fluid as an estimate of dripping/replacement loss. I don't have an easy way to raise all four wheels to check the level, but I'm confident I'm in the ball park. No visible leaks after a test run.
