I really enjoyed my 09 and it had everything but leather. MSRPd at a little under $25K.

I have only put 350 miles on my Camry but sure do enjoy the smooth and quite ride. If I needed two cars I probably would have kept the HHR for a run-around-town car.

I've been looking at replacing my '06 HHR with a Buick Encore or Ford Escape. The Escape comes in at $25K+ and the Encore at $27K+. My HHR is worth $2500-3000 as a trade in.

My HHR runs quite well with only a few repairs in my eight years of ownership and even at 128,000 plus miles it is worth more to me than buying a new car.

But I do get lots of junk mail from various auto dealers wanting me to buy a new car.

Be sure and check out the CX5 Mazda if you go for an SUV.

X2. I love my Mazda3 and they build some really nice cars that are fun to drive and get great gas mileage. If you're looking to get a new SUV I would definitely put the Mazda CX-5 on the list of vehicles to check out.

Unhappy Stella had an accident

My 2009 HHR LT, Stella, was totaled last Thursday. I was pulling out of my driveway, trying to see around the snowbanks, almost made it into my lane. BAM, drivers side passenger's door. Verdict, body bent, totaled. My point is that my insurance company is giving me $8,271.72. It had approx. 77,000 miles on it and was in good condition.
