Keyless Entry question

Thank you to anyone who can help me with this....I purchased my 06 1LT a week ago. I did not get key fobs with it, and it was documented as a previous rental vehicle. Does anyone think that this car may have the keyless entry? If so, what would be the code inside the glovebox?

Should be AP3 "Lock control remote, keyless entry, start, remote keyless entry & engine start".

Also you can try typing in your VIN for Google and look up your car specs and then it will tell you. Also call the dealer they can tell you if you do or not by giving them the last 8 of the VIN number. I just came from the dealer myself and that is how I find out that mine did.

Hope that helps

John

Most of the rentals did NOT have that option. It's not that the remote is just missing, the option is not there at all

If you are talking about the remote start then look up the code under the glove box sticker as suggested before is not easy 5 minute call to the dealer should answer this question. What is the VIN number I can call for you or I can google the info for you..
I just need the last 8 digits...

tech-guy: The last 8 of the VIN are 6S637381. A delaer said they could not find any info on this for me. But reading on the internet fromn cars.com says keyless entry is standard. I just don't know what to believe. Thank you in advance for your time.
