Possibly Selling my 08 LT for a 08 SS?

So I found a 2008 HHR SS with only 89000 Km on the odemeter and it has a full history attached to it, well maintained.

Issue I am having is I have a 2008 LT with 163000 Km and I was looking into doing the struts and shocks with new rotors and swaybar links. I called my mechanic and was quoted 1300 approx. for everything installed. So, this being in mind, is it worth it for me to upgrade, but buy a car I have no history with or just stick with my LT and rebuild the suspension??

even a stock auto ss is fun to drive getting a HP or trifecta tune wakes up the auto ss big time. after tune you will usually have about 280-290 hp then they are a really fun car to drive. My SS auto has about 375 crank hp it is very fast and fun.
So to me the choice would be easy. sell my LT don't spend the 1300.00 then buy the SS
you will be glad you did but it will require a little work on your end, sell it fast look up blue book look at fair mkt. price and lower it a $1000 dollars so you might sell it faster.
good luck Tim

Well for my region the BB value is about 8200 for my current car and 12500 for a SS. I am listing my car for $8000 and hoping that I can butter this guy down to $9000

Hotstuff...buy the SS. In '08 I traded my '06 HHR 2LT for my '08 HHR SS. Put a tune on it and never regretted it...ever.

There are not 1,300 bucks worth of parts in your LT, but the SS is a hot rod! , but how are the struts, shocks , springs , brakes, you get the idea!
My point is do you want the SS? Then say goodbye to your LT and hello SS!
Like forest fires , only you! Can make the decession

163,000 miles is only 101,283 miles so that would be a good winter ride for you and the SS for burning down the highways in the rest of the year! , Foxhat may have something here!
