Spoilt Now!

I ordered new Fobs from GM, after I realized, I could have bought them from the aftermarket, and programmed them myself. Then to add insult to injury, the dealership wants $100 to program them! I called a local shop up the street and they quoted me $40, so off I went, and 15 minutes later, I have an HHR the locks, unlocks and has remote start, that's too cool. The icing on the cake, they only charged me $20!

It's good to shop around. It's amazing the price differences that are out there.

Absolutely, many times I don't mind spending a little extra in the local Mom & Pop shops to keep the money in town and help local businesses, being in a small town. I just figured no one would have the programmer, but I'm glad I called around.

Where near Lake Simcoe might this shop be. I grew up in Keswick and my dad still lives up there.

It's Gary Pegg's shop, I'm just down the road on Church St. Talk about a small world!

Cool Peggs used to live behind my dad on Gwendolyn. I remember he had Peggs Performance graphics on some vehicles a few years back
