Ok, I've heard that there are a lot of things that depend on the BCM to function but not all BCMs are the same.

Mine is G/M P/N 25848392 and DELPHI P/N 28103693. Just for kicks, 878392RA71441778 is located at the bottom. Not sure if that is needed.

Here is a short list of things I would like for my 2007 HHR LS

Factory XM antenna

Factory XM (I'll settle for an aftermarket unit but would still like to use the factory antenna)

Factory fog lights

Steering wheel radio controls

Are any of these options possible with what I have?

I think that the computer part is the same, but the firmware needs updating and programming. That can only be done by a person that has a Tech2 and access to TIS2WEB, which probably means a GM shop.

I know that my 07 LS was able to accept factory fog lamps with some wiring added and having the dealer enable the fog lamp feature in the body controller.

The steering wheel radio switches are very easy. Just need to add the switch,bezel and small wire harness. No programing required.
