LoL yall do know, badges dont earn hp right? :P I am a firm believer that Badges cause attention to be drawn by you. Now, it doesnt help my rear window has a big ol RICEKILLER.com sticker on it, but I have plans to remove the SS badges, and the body kits, and spoiler. Gonna aero the body kits so no need for a spoiler. That way, at a glance, it wont look ricer. just my two cents.
btw, you dont know how many folks think cause i have a ricekiller sticker on my back, think im gonna race them. They should read up about ricekillers lol

I think the red and black Nova SS emblems could potentially tie in really well with the whole red and black theme I've got going. But I won't really know until I actually have them in my hand and start doing mock-ups...I took a risk buying them, but I need to SEE them live. I have this weird feeling they can work.

I like the original side and rear SS badges that my car came with. So I would say don't change yours---is it really worth the time, effort and expense?
But here's something you might like. Check out my SS's grille (see my avatar, left, and my album). I felt there was something lacking when the car was viewed from the front, but I didn't want a large SS that I'd seen others had placed over the bow-tie emblem. So I ordered an SS grille emblem for a 2010 Camaro SS. It's available at your Chevy dealer's parts counter, GM Part #92225494, and it matches the stylized stock SS badges for the HHR. I just carefully broke off the two small pins on the back, wiped the grille with an alcohol swab, and mounted the emblem using the sticky tape already on the back. I positioned it on the driver's side, just below center, to balance appearance with the most contact of the badge (with particular attention to the corners of the letters) with the grille.
