Trying to find an SS...

For the past few weeks I have been trying to get a bit more serious about purchasing an HHR SS... I would have gotten one earlier, but the dealerships I was talking to were wanting way more than I really wanted to pay for an ss... I don't NEED to get rid of my cobalt ls, but I want to upgrade to an HHR SS... Around here the automatics aren't too hard to find, however I do not wish to own an automatic (Can't really stand autos no matter how quick the gearing is) I prefer to handle the shifting myself... It has been hard trying to find a decent used 5M SS in my area... anyone know of a good place to start looking? Would like to be driving a 5m SS before april...

I forgot to mention that I have been browsing autotrader, cars.com, cargurus... etc... even carmax...

One of the members told me a while back to look on the following

Chevrolet HHR SS for sale on craiglist.org

It automatically searches all of craigslist nationwide, it worked for me...

Well, thinking about trying to snag up a blue 2008 SS 5M from a dealership 120 miles away for $12,763 (maybe I can talk them a hair lower ) it has 54k on the clock, that is no issue for me... That is actually the price point I am looking to be at... (Going to have a little bit of overhead left over on the cobalt when I trade it in, so trying to not be upsidedown by a whole lot.)

Just to give you all an update the dealership and I are talking numbers right now and they are working to get me into the SS with no money down... I am keeping my fingers crossed! I hope they are able to work something out, took me four months to find this one at this price in the color I want! http://www.home-motors.com/VehicleDe...-CA/2136015793

This wait is killing me! lol I am trying to figure out if I will be driving down there tonight to get the ss... they are keeping me updated via text message
