Former rental car. The rental companies(most, if not all ) would order the HHR's with the remote start deleted.

Hello,everyone can someone talk me how to use the remote start option? My hhr was a fleet vehicle and it has the ap3 option so the dic on and off remote start but do not know how to use it please help

Then read a few of the other threads linked by the search "remote start".
Then read the back of your Remote Start fob
Then read your Owners Manual (follow the link in my sig).
I give all of these because I don't know what you mean by " how to use the remote start".

javis69 stated AP3 is on his RPO list and that the option is in the DIC personalization menu. Why would he/she need CCC to tell him if he has it or not? He/she just doesn't know how to use it, and obviously does not know that the information is in the Owners Manual.
Additional hint buried in this and other threads: "lock" + "panic" = Remote Start button if you don't have a Remote Start button on your fob.

Friends! Can share vin (to P.M.) of the vehicles which have Remote Start AP3? It looks like we need to change receiver flash file by programmer.
One of my collegues told that need to use part number 15835547. Its same on Dodge Caliber with Automatic Transmission - just change reflash receiver dump and add Remote start option on BCM + add resistor for Hood Ajar switch = working well.
