hey , Im Mike and my wife is Michele/bunny , we are looking foward to being members here. michele has been bugging me to buy her a hhr for almost 4 years now. We rented one when the first came out and she fell in love, I kind of thought they were cool but knew that they wouldnt hold value long term, 10 to 20 years, that was until the SS. so michele is on vacation visiting a friend in maryland. So last week I did a internet search within 200 miles of my home , on auto trader, and came up with 430 hits. At first my plan was to get a white or red lt for under 10k , and then I saw a 08 SS with 2k miles for 19k well that was more than I really wanted to spend. so I kept searching and making offers and soon figured that 90% of used hhr's are rental returns, well I didnt want one of those , so I kept coming back to the SS, co I called them and made a offer of 16,500 , they called me back a couple of hours later accepting my offer, cool. well come to find out the SS is 1 bad a$$ car, very high performance all around, much more than I expected. on my test drive it easily did 140 so I bought it. so now I tell michele that the hhr part is hers and the SS part is mine. So now I am scrambling to do all of the usual mods to get it to go faster, stage kit , intake and exhaust,and this web site, oh and xm, actually that is the toughest one so far.but anyway we are looking foward to hhr.net.-m-m-
to the site!!! Silver was one of our choices for the SS. Ended up with our other SOM.

sounds like you got a pretty good deal. I would have took that. Love it in the silver. Might be one of my favorite ss colors. only thing you see her is red and black and the silver looks mild, bit it's wild. I honestly thought it only came in red and black until the others starting showing up on here.
