Yes, I can do a chemical etch. Its a paste that is applied to either metal or glass. When the laser hits it it alters the metal chemical makeup and etches black. Im having a machine shop cut blank lnf and lsj covers out of aluminum and stainless to use as blanks. I imagine copper wouldn't be an issue.

You know i'm game for all your killer stuff , I just have to wait till i get some cash. It kills me to have the 2010 rotting outside this winter , The 2008 spent 3 days outside of a garge while i ownded it.

I'll send you some info on Monday on the copper. Side.thought.... I wonder if you could, by blunt persuasion, get a thin sheet of copper to form to the contours of the original airbox. Hum.
