do you have to hold down the button on the steering wheel for 3 seconds befor the song changes, and can you change play list by your steering wheel controls?

thats the reason i bought it the parts counter person told me i could control everything from there i dont see the need to look at the radio to scroll through song on the radio when it is easier to use the i pod itself

There is a long thread about this on here someplace.

I have the PAL and love it--came on the car when I bought it.
You need to hold the button down a smidgen longer to change tracks.
making play lists and setting what you listen to before you drive helps.
As far as I know, you can't change play lists from the steering wheel controls.

I think the Nano sounds great through the Pioneer system.
